First Date Fashion Tips For Women |
There are women who are naturally fashion inclined. Those who know how to dress well, what and what not to wear. Then, there are those who are---well, fashion refugees. Fashion is an art for most people. Getting dressed up in the morning for work requires a certain amount of time for some. The possibility of getting caught in ratty loose shorts and a torn shirt is simply appalling. Women who dress for success, also dress for almost anything. A trip to the coffee shop, grocery shopping, even when running simple errands. So what more should be done, or not done, when they go out to meet guys and go on dates? Simple do's and don'ts will do the trick. First, DO check yourself in the mirror. You must know and love your body. Not all clothes you see in magazines will look glorious on you. If you're heavy in the front, stay away from plunging and body-hugging clothes. If you have big arms, wear sleeves that will flatter your arms. If you have great legs, wear a dress or a skirt that falls a few inches below the knee. Second, DONT dress like a hooker. A see through blouse will signal a man's brain to think that you're easy. Showing too much skin equals sleazy. If you want to be respected and treated like a lady then dress accordingly. Fourth, DO make sure that you're comfortable with what you're wearing. Your dress may be sexy and flattering but if you keep fidgeting, you will not only damage your dress, you'll damage your image too. Sixth, DO wear something that will boost your self-confidence. You won't get a date if you're shy. Knowing how to strike up a conversation shows that you can handle yourself well and that you can be good company. Seventh, DO be yourself. This is one of the most important tips in getting a date. Pretending to be someone you're not will make you uncomfortable and uneasy. Even if they don't find out the truth (at least for now), it will be such a burden to hide your identity and become another person. Being yourself helps you to become more relaxed and more confident. Last but not the least, keep everything minimal. Your makeup shouldn't cover your face entirely and scream "Clown!", your natural beauty should shine through. Keep your hair as simple as possible. You're going to for a date, not the Oscars. In addition, your perfume shouldn't overpower you. You don't want your potential date to suffocate before you even have your first meal together. Now you're all set and ready to go! Remember to tuck a few bills in your purse just in case your man "forgets" his wallet. P.S: Drop that guy immediately. |
