Dating Advice For Women |
For a woman, going out on a date can be an anxiety-provoking experience. Here are some ways to help make your date easier, so you can relax and enjoy yourself during your quest to find Mr. Right. 1) Don't be late for your date. You don't want your date to wait in your living room getting to know your overprotective father or your sexy, good-looking roommate while you are getting ready. Being late on a first date can make your date worry that he's been stood up. 2) Be yourself. Don't put on a phony front with the hope of impressing your date. If your date doesn't like you the way you are, there's no reason to go out with him again. 3) Compliment your date. Find things that you like about your date, and tell him what they are. 4) Don't whine. It's OK to tell your date if there is a problem - for example, if the food you got isn't what you ordered - as long as you do so politely and calmly and don't make a big deal about it. However, you shouldn't turn the date into an opportunity to load all of your problems onto the guy's shoulders. Negative people are a turn off, and your date doesn't want to be your counselor or your psychologist. 5) If you are having a good time, let your date know it. This will help him to be more relaxed. This does not mean that you should lie. If you go to a restaurant and can't stand the food, don't tell your date that it's the most delicious meal you've ever had; you don't want him to take him you back there. 6) Stay aware. Of course, you should try to enjoy yourself, but you should also remain levelheaded and safety-conscious. Is there anything suspicious about your date's behavior? It's normal for a guy to be nervous on a first date; you should be able to distinguish between simple nervousness and "odd" behavior. 7) Let your date know if he is making uncomfortable. If he doesn't alter his behavior despite your protests, you don't want to see him again anyway. 8) When the date is over, let the guy know if you are interested and would like to see him again. Give him a few days to call you, and if he doesn't, take the initiative and call him. The worst that could happen is that he will say he doesn't want to go out with you again, which will just give you more time to find someone else. |
