Have You Found Mr. or Ms. Right?

Often, when people date, they are looking for someone who they will love, and who will love them, for the rest of their lives.

When you begin dating someone, you try to find out as much about them as you can, so that you can see if the relationship has the potential to develop into something more. In addition to finding out if you and the other person are physically attracted to each other, you try to discover if you share common interests and if you feel comfortable sharing your thoughts with each other.

If you both agree that the relationship could develop further, you will continue to date. As your relationship progresses, you will become closer and learn more and more about each other.

At some point in the relationship, you may begin to wonder if the other person is the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Are they truly Mr. or Ms. Right?

Here are some questions to ask yourself if you think that you may have found "The One":

Would you be able to deal with their personality every day for the rest of your life? Nobody has a perfect personality. We all have faults. Do you know what the other person's faults are, and can you tolerate these faults?

Are there other obstacles to the relationship that you wouldn't be able to tolerate? For example, does the other person have family members who make your life miserable, but whom you wouldn't be able to avoid?

When it comes to relationships, different people have different levels of tolerance. One person could fall in love with someone who is a drug addict, stay with them, and support them through their recovery.

Another person might break up with someone because they put the toilet paper on the roll the wrong way.

Remember that love is unconditional. When you love someone, you accept them as they are. You accept their good qualities and their bad qualities.

You can't force somebody else to change. Trying to do so will just make them angry and cause you to become disappointed. If you want to have a relationship for life, you must accept the other person as they are.
